Planning vault visits when holdings span Seoul and Busan
Coordinating branch appointments, key custody, and register updates across distant cities.
Geographically split holdings create scheduling puzzles. Keys may sit in Suwon while the box rents in Busan Haeundae. One sibling holds authorisation; another lives nearer the branch.
Sequence your trips by key location
Visit the city where keys are stored first. Update the key custody table before travelling. If a duplicate must be couriered, note expected arrival date on the amendment sheet.
Book branch appointments early
Major branches accept walk-ins, but vault rooms have limited simultaneous access. Call three business days ahead and quote your box number. Bring the same ID the rental agreement lists.
One register, two verification stamps
After each trip, record the branch clerk’s access log date in the margin. Over years this builds evidence of active oversight without photographing contents.
