Information we collect
- Enquiry forms: name, email, message, optional service selection and vault city details you provide voluntarily.
- Service engagements: contact details, branch correspondence you share, interview notes, and delivery addresses.
- Website technical data: server logs may record IP address, browser type, and pages visited for security and diagnostics.
We do not collect safe-deposit-box keys, photographs of vault contents, or online banking credentials through this website.
How we use data
- Respond to enquiries and deliver commissioned registers
- Issue invoices and maintain business records required by law
- Improve website security and performance
Legal basis
Processing is based on contract performance, legitimate business interests, and compliance with legal obligations under the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) of South Korea.
Retention
Enquiry records are kept for up to 24 months unless an engagement proceeds. Completed project files are retained for seven years for accounting and dispute resolution, then securely destroyed. Interview working notes are shredded after binding unless you request archival storage.
Your rights
Under PIPA you may request access, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing of your personal data. Contact hello@desktopashway.click. We will respond within statutory timeframes.
International transfers
Primary data processing occurs in South Korea. If we use overseas courier tracking systems, only delivery metadata is shared.
