Split-Holding Inventory Register

Who this is for

Families, executors, and small partnerships that rent two or more safe-deposit boxes at different bank branches and need a single authoritative inventory sheet that successors can read without visiting every vault first.

What is included

  • Confidential intake interview covering each branch, box number, and general contents category (documents, jewellery, certificates, media)
  • Cross-reference table linking vault identifiers to key envelopes and authorised signatories
  • Index of last-known verification dates and renewal reminders
  • Two hardbound copies on acid-free paper with numbered pages
  • One revision round within 30 days of delivery

What is excluded

  • Photography or appraisal of individual items
  • Legal advice on estate planning or tax treatment
  • Physical retrieval of box contents
  • Translation of foreign-language documents inside boxes

Process

  1. Intake call — We confirm branch names, approximate box counts, and whether keys are held by multiple family members.
  2. Document gathering — You provide rental agreements, access cards, or branch correspondence. We do not need box keys.
  3. Interview session — A registrar records descriptions you supply verbally. We never open boxes on your behalf.
  4. Draft review — You receive a proof copy by secure courier or in-person handoff.
  5. Final binding — Registers are indexed, paginated, and delivered with a custody log for your files.

Preparation

Bring a list of branch addresses, box numbers, and a rough outline of categories per box. If key envelopes are stored separately, note their location so we can cross-reference holders accurately.
